 bomination is a Lord of the Rings online kinship which plays on the Arkenstone server. We are a small but ever growing kinship dedicated to learning the game and successfullly progressing as a group to experience end game content. Our kinship was formed during open beta and we are now a rank 10 kinship and over 2 years old, the second oldest, large active kinship on the Arkenstone server that we know of.
Although we are a smaller kinship, we are also very ambitious and focus on the quality of players rather than quantity. Our membership is comprised of members primarily over the age of 30 and we all have a great deal of experience with MMORPG's. We are all very dedicated to the success of the kinship and look for that in our players as well. If you are looking for a smaller kinship focused on enjoying the game without the pressures and demands of larger kinships then the Abomination is for you! We are not an extreme hardcore kinship and do not pressure our players to power level as quick as possible to level 60. We are here to have fun, enjoy our kinship community, help each other out, and above all enjoy progressing successfully through the game and the end game content. |

 he Abomination is recruiting again on a limited basis! All classes are welcome, however we are heavy in a few areas. To apply to the Abomination, you must register on the forums and submit an application there. We will reply to your application and let you know how your status is going. We will also attempt to contact you in game as soon as possible. Hurry now to apply, open recruitment will most likely be closing very soon.
We are also looking to round out our raiding core. Are you in a kinship who does not raid or raid well? Are you looking to find a kinship that is willing to raid? Are you ready to experience the end game? If these are questions you are asking yourself, then we may be a great fit for you. Currently the Abomination raids on weekends. We are looking for players who can make that committment and be able to raid at least 3 times per month at a minimum. We are using a tier system for our raiders. Tier 1 raiders make up the core raiding group, Tier 2 players are the reserve units that can sign up for a raid and will be assigned spots when tier 1 players cannot make a raid. Tier 3 is reserved for one alt and players who need more experience. Tier 1 and 2 players are assigned priority for obtaining raidiance gear. Due to the kinship being here for more then two years on the Arkenstone server, we are introducing a minimum level to join us. Casual players must be at least level 35 to join at this time. If you are applying to become a raider with us in the Tier 1 or 2 level, then you must have a character that is level 55. We are experienced enough to be able to help you level your character to 60 from 55 in a very short period. urtle Soup? Abomination has affectionately called the new turtle in Filikul - Norman. Norman likes to give good loot on some nights and nothing on other nights. So far we have managed to obtain several first age items, some second ages, a few gear tokens and most importantly of all we feel that we now have a strategy to down him very efficiently and quickly without the use of enrage or shield wall. Abomination has also recently decided to run Helegrod with 11 people. Granted we were all 60 but one, but we managed a full Helegrod Clear including Thorog without a single wipe. Gratz to the members who attended the unannounced raid and made this happen. A video will be out shortly to show the entire run. |
