The Abomination has returned to Dar Narbugud.

During a time before the expansion, Abomination had taken a small break from raiding as some mebers took personal time to relax and take a short break from the game.

Now, in coming back with the expansion we have returned again to the foresaken DN raid, and this time, were ready.

Abomination had previously only set foot within this raid three-four times.

Our first exclusion in the hellish caves were with the twin trolls.  After fighting them this time our consensus was "thats it".  The trolls went down quickly and harshly and without mercy.

Our next pulls went much like our normal Abom nuke routine.  Pull the mobs, control the corruptions, and hit every FM along the way.  Pretty soon we were at our next boss zholuga.

A quick strat review to the members and we engaged the boss.  A short while later we were standing above his corpse on our first attempt ever at him.  The Abom's were beginning to get excited now.

After more trash pulling and trash talking we were now standing in front of Istum.  Again we did a quick strat and engaged the boss.  A few members felt the pain of his hard attacks, but in the end it was Istum who had felt our wrath and layed dead upon our feet.  A second first attempt that went smoothly.

We again regrouped and drove even further into the caves until we stood in front of Flagit.  This boss, however; proved to be a bit more then we had anticipated and caused us to wipe as we were not prepared for the crazyness that this battle had to offer.

A short time later, we were rezzed and ready to again.  His second attempt at killing the Abomination ended up with his demise as he soon laid dead upon our feet.

It had begun getting later in the night but we decided to press on even further until we came to the blind one.  Our first attempt resulted in a death on the first phase as we needed to figure out our spacing.  Our second attempt we had made it through phase one with no difficulty, but then not understanding the mechanics of phase two, we ended up out of position and the blind one had gotten the best of us.

With the membership tired after a long, yet successful night, we decided to call the raid for the night.  We were richer, wiser, and quite happy to have gotten as far as we did being basically the fifth night we had ever been in Dar Nanbugud.

We expect next time that we will conquer the entire raid.
